The Miracle of His Resurrection (Matthew 28:1-6): Access to God
Throughout His life on earth, Jesus preached that He was the only way to God, the Father—John 14:6. He taught us about how much God wants to have a relationship with us through Him. Since no one can die and rise from the dead except by the power of God, and since Jesus died and rose from the dead, it goes without saying that everything Jesus said was true, including the part where we can now have free access to God through Him.
This access to God opens us up to the immeasurable riches of God—His “glorious inheritance in his holy people” (Ephesians 1:18, NIV). “And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favour) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus” – Ephesians 2:6-7, AMPC.
So, God, through the death and resurrection of Christ, has put forth an invitation for all to come into the riches of His goodness (Matthew 22:9). He is calling you too. Why not respond?

I was around 5 when, I am strongly convinced, I first heard the distinct voice of God. But, not until I was 11 (2002) did I have a personal encounter with Him. I was in my room that night, about to pray before bed, when I saw a revelation of how filthy my heart was. I didn't argue with God that I was too young to have such amount of filth ('cause I believed I was a 'good boy,' by human standards, at least). I simply cried uncontrollably in brokenness of heart - "The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God" (Psalm 51:17) - and He didn't.
Still crying uncontrollably, I left my room and went to the living room, where my parents were watching the nightly news on TV. After I managed to tell them about the revelation I saw, my sweet mum took me to her room and led me to Christ. I got saved that night. And 6 years later, I discovered my purpose and assignment on earth, which is raising up men and women to be godly, and teaching them the simplicity of Christianity. More than a decade later, I am still fulfilling that purpose to His glory. Hallelujah!
